We seal off work areas during any inside work that may be dusty, using sheets of poly and painter's gentle release tape. Mats are used to cover walkways and finished floors, and tarps are put down as needed on furniture and items which cannot be removed from the working areas. We provide access to and from the rooms with vinyl Dust Doors (made here in Massachusetts) that each have a built-in door, which get zipped up after someone enters or leaves a dusty area. Portable air filtering machines are set up both inside and outside the working area to further control the spread of dust.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: As of early 2010, strict rules will apply to remodeling on all homes built prior to 1978, regarding removal or disturbing surfaces that may contain lead paint. I have taken HUD's 2 day training in lead-safe remodeling, and will be certified later this year.
